We celebrated our Grandma’s birthday and had the best service, amazing food, and they played the happy birthday song with our Gma’s name over the speakers! Then when we were leaving the owner came out and changed all of the Christmas lights to ink so she could leave town in style! Talk about one of the best customer service experiences ever!”

“Ummmm...initial thought upon arriving here was "What have I gotten us into?.?.?." Glad we still went in. The "down home" service was better than anywhere I've been since COVID. The food I swear was 100% made from scratch. I didn't see ANYTHING that looked pre manufactured AT ALL. Smoked meatloaf...PHENOMENAL...fried chicken strips...all hand breaded and fried...FREAKING AMAZING...every single side from mashed potatoes to Mac and cheese to potato casserole was beyond better than anywhere else! They even butted your roll for you. If we ever come through again we will for sure stop by here first. This place definitely deserves my 5 star rating.”

“The food was good, Prime Rib Special husband was pleased, Philly steak sandwich was probably one of the better ones I've had with large chunks of steak was very yummy! The service however, I have never felt so unwanted in a place or like I am disturbing someone's evening, we didn't even get greeted just a cold stare. She was knowledgeable on the drinks but my drink was extremely strong.”

“We stopped on a whim as we were heading back to Iowa. What an amazing place. We ordered wraps for a quick lunch and they were delicious. I got a cinnamon roll to take home and it was huge! It took three days to finish it but it was just as good as when fresh. Thank you for a great experience.”

“Burger was amazing. Perfect greasy cheesy goodness. Suzy Qs were a little lackluster because they were in a solid block and unsalted so they were a bit hard to eat. When we go next time I'll definitely just opt for fries or tots. But we will for sure be back for the burger! Also, very reasonably priced!”

“the staff was friendly but they were busy, they do an all you can eat catfish on Thursdays, so it was hopping. they got our drinks and order quickly but it took a while to get our meals. You get plenty of food. My tenderloin sandwich was big and tasty, but it was a little dry i had already cut the extra off my sandwich when I took the picture, there was about six mor inches of meat outside the bun. the fried chicken was good but the batter wasn't as crisp as I would like. We would be willing to try them again when they aren't as busy. They do charge 4% for using a credit card.”

“The staff was fun. The slaw was nothing but soup, lousy hamburger. Grease was too hot or needed changed, evetything tasted the same in the fryer. My moms chicken breast was good.we are glad they were open. ?350* fryer and at least a daily strain would help tremendously. Thanks for opening”
