“Whatever you do, don’t ask for a straw with the new strawless lids or the older woman with short dark grey hair will catch an attitude and proceed to talk badly about you as you walk out. She’s also been rude prior when I asked for a drink to be remade due to wrong ingredients in the drink. The coffees great though 99% of the time and everyone else there is sweet and won’t question your drink or order. :)”

“This restaurant was introduction to Indian food . I first visited it a month ago for the bounteous lunch buffet which is amazing. This month I ordered off the menu. We were given some sort of thin crust flatbread wit a mint dip and another with tamarind. Unusual but delicious flavors in both. I had the shrimp in a curry sauce with raisins and almonds and ordered a number 4 for heat. It was terrific. We shared creamy cold and slightly sweet rice posy and fried cheese balls in a honey sauce. I also enjoy a huge Taj Mahal beer making the whole meal subliminal,”

“This is a great place for a filling lunch of Asian/taco fusion. It is a no frills operation (they spend virtually nothing on furniture and decor), oriented to the hungry college crouw. . I especially like their bow.s. When I first heard soul taco I didn’t know what the bank or what kind of tacos I’d be getting into then I found myself looking at a Korean menu made into tacos I tried the gogi bowl and it was actually pretty good. Better than some of the Korean restaurants I’ve attempted to eat at. I would recommend this place if you are in Columbia”

“In town for Mizzou game. Stayed downtown. Was looking for a place to eat with good pub food and beer selection. This place delivered both. Didn't want to eat at one of the crowded college bars. On a Saturday night wait was about 15-20 minutes. Our server Kylie did very well , friendly and very attentive. Had the KC Strip....cooked perfect...a little fatty...it was definitely a strip steak , not sure it qualifies as a KC Strip.as the menu states, but I'm not a butcher ?”

“My husband and I were supposed to go to a concert at the Blue Note but it was cancelled so we went next door for dinner. With all the changes to food service due to the pandemic I wasn't sure what to expect but these guys delivered! “I work in the area, so I eat there at least once a week. The menu is so appealing and they have fast service with a smile. I grab lunch there so often, they know what I will order before I say anything. The nachos and enchillada's are the best thing on the menu. Don't mind people who knock this place as drunk food only. It's a great spot loved by generations of locals, the staff are warm, friendly, quick and wonderful. Portions are great (both lunch and dinner). Especially appreciative when they are generous with the queso. Love it here!”

“Walk around and checked out all the stores near campus, walked pass the rolling ice-cream store and it's impossible not to check it out. Bright clean store. There are so many varieties and combination of flavors to choose from. I had strawberry & Nutella and its heavenly good!!!! The ice-cream maker was fast and professional. The equipment looks better than other rolling ice-cream place I've been too. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!”

I really really recommend the ramen, the pork belly is INCREDIBLE. as is the Gyoza. the sushi was also quite good. “I Just find it delicious. You absolutely must go and try any one of their locations. For real, the Thai beef salad is luscious. Of course being American I have no idea what it's called but it is awesome. Buy it. They have some other nice appetizers and traditional gastronomic delights, you can depend on their soups as well. everything is prepared ultra fresh. The balance of flavor is textures and spices, especially the burn if you need it... Is definitely there. So. In my expert advice, according to Google, what you need to do is have a whole family over to sit in the back deck during this wonderful fall approaching weather. Then you need to order a bunch of different stuff and then just try everything. Make everybody attempt to use the chopsticks. It's good for your coordination and your brain. It also makes you happy. So,always be sure to take your covid precautions. They do pick ups all day and late into the night with no big deal. Be sure to tip your server. who is usually supremely knowledgeable, friendly, and wholesome. Such a lovely place. You will have no regrets. I could guarantee it but I don't think it's legal. So. very easy and Swift transactions. All the staff are super professional. I really almost feel like family when I go in there there's so much smiling. You just need to do it. It's lovely. And then when you get a chance when the covid is over get a passport and go to Thailand. It is literally an absolute slice of heaven.”
