Personally I like the the brown butter gnocchi better than the butternut squash sauce, but it was still amazing. They're very accommodating when it comes to special requests. Service is outstanding!!! Annie was especially sweet and the bartender can make one of the best Paloma's I've ever had. Oh, and the fries!!!! So good!”

“Curbside pick up was super easy and safe! This was our first time here and boy are we excited to come back. First and foremost, the proper cheese dip and pretzels was by far, the absolute pretzel and cheese dip we’ve ever had. And let me tell you, we know our cheese dips! The cheese and meat plate was also divine (told you we love cheese!)- the goat cheese and salami/sausage was incredible. The customer service we received all around was top notch and we can’t wait to go back and try several other items. The family style and larger quantity to-go meals could be perfect for quarantine meals for the family!”

Ocha Noodles and Ramen

Address: 1101 Grindstone Pkwy, Columbia, MO 65201, USA

Restaurant

“Interesting startup ramen joint that’s still getting its legs underneath it. Good flow of customers show they have the right idea and good food. And I emphasize here at the outset, I’ll be back. But that being said, their cooking operation makes me nervous… Using a Coleman camp stove indoors (?!) might work - but it also might not be safe. There are also lots of open containers with the ramen components all over the place. The old Steak ‘n Shake motto, “In sight, it must be right” comes to mind - but doesn’t seem to apply, either. The storefront used to be a packaged meal place that closed (their labels remain on the grab-n-go coolers on the South wall), and then, it seems, these folks took over the space with its adequate refrigeration facilities, brought in some portable burners, and started offering decent ramen and noodle dishes. I used to live in Columbia, and the health department used to be really hard-nosed. How this place passes their standards? I don’t know. But like I said, they’re pointed in the right direction. It’d just be nice to see a real commercial stove with a ventilation hood, and a refrigerated stainless steel service bar to keep the noodle dish components safe and fresh. Maybe with the customer flow they can acquire those appliances soon. And as I’ve said above: I still recommend this place, and I will probably return when I’m back in Columbia.”

Grand Cru

Address: 2600 S Providence Rd, Columbia, MO 65203, USA

Night club Meal delivery Restaurant

“Curiouser and curiouser. Perhaps the strangest dining experience in ages. I imagine the Eagles we’re under a similar influence when writing meal California. Be that as it may I had a lovely meal, if not an outstanding meal Beautifully cooked trout, a gorgeous side of asparagus, my partner had the salmon (exceptional), and we split a the bread pudding (divine). The wine (by the glass) list is lackluster but the bottle offerings were impressive. Tremendous collection of liquor. Great service. Will certainly return. Strange vibes were mostly in me: I rarely eat at steak houses, especially those feeling straight out of Victorian New England of the 20’s ? Had a great time.”
