Delightful food and drinks. Order multiple plates and prepare to be blown away from the salad to the meatloaf. We loved every bite. Will be returning. Service was also outstanding. Well deserved 5 stars.
My boyfriend and I found Flyover on a whim. We departed the Fort Leonard Wood area for Columbia on a last minute getaway for an evening. Upon arrival there was a 30-45 minute wait which was met by a few drinks at the bar. We enjoyed watching the bartenders craft drink after drink with such skill and professionalism. When we were finally seated, it wasn’t a table but a spot at the end of the bar near the fire stove. We thoroughly enjoyed the pretzels and the sausage and potatoes, but our favorite by far was the Gimelli pasta. We hope to return again in the near future. Perfect evening for a business casual event or a night out with your significant other. Expect to pay no less than $50.
Super cool vibe, great craft drinks and brews, excellent menu that switches some but has awesome staples. I recommend getting a bunch of plates and sharing with a group. Everything is wood fired and loved on and it shows! Excellent all around and highly recommend!
We ate here for the first time last night - always wanted to, I knew the managers in high school - and we were all so very pleased! The service was really good and helpful, and the food was very very good. The flavors were familiar but with enough new twists to up the experience. Quality experience all around.
This is the best restaurant in Columbia. Period. The food is made with love, old classics turn into something refined. It's not just fried cauliflower, it's over a bed of vegetables and a sauce to die for. It isn't just bread and cheese sauce. It's a cream cheese/cranberry/honey/heaven blend with pretzel bread. I can honestly account for the amount of times I have dived into that dish and died. The atmosphere of this place is also something to boast about. A smaller, intimate eatery with a bar and, my favorite, no kids. This isn't a place you can get fish sticks at for your little tot, you will be disappointed if you think this is a "family restaurant". This is a place for foodies, a place to enjoy food at your own pace, with nice sized plates, without distraction. This place is truly the best place to go if you are looking for amazing food, great atmosphere and no kids. I can't recommend this place enough.
