The BEST margaritas in town. Our favorite is the black margarita. They also have the best fajitas. Both the chicken and steak are seasoned wonderfully and are very tender. Our favorite appetizer is the pepper jack dip but don’t forget to add the chorizo! The staff and ownership is what ultimately keeps us coming back. It’s a true family atmosphere and makes dining in a special occasion, every time. 5 stars!!

I've been visiting The Hat since I was a small child and the food has been consistent for at least 30 years. Even after moving to St. Louis, I make certain to stop here when I'm back home, and everything is exactly as I remember it. I appreciate that it's consistent! The options are different than most Mexican places I visit, and I also appreciate that. I hope to be able to visit here for years to come.

This family owned and operated restaurant has a simple menu with entrees that are reasonably priced. There are daily specials, but if they don't interest you, the regular menu will have it. The best thing about this place is the frozen margaritas with salt. They don't have a bartender. It's done with a machine. But, we have been all across North America and have not found a better one.

Amazing food. Amazing service. This is my new breakfast spot. Chips and hot sauce before breakfast get me going for the day. And Larry is one of the nicest people ever. He's has such a great spirit. You can't go wrong eating the food here.
