Ma & Pa's Kettle Restaurant

I've been to Ma & Pa's for lunch several times since it's close to work and was never disappointed. My friend and I went for a Saturday breakfast and it was great. Large portions of food, never-ending hot fresh coffee, and friendly staff as always. This place is a hidden gem that only serves breakfast and lunch but well worth a visit to Claycomo - close to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City!

We stopped at this local spot for a great breakfast. We all really enjoyed our breakfast. The bacon and biscuits and gravy we're design. The staff was so friendly and gave us some great local tourist tips. Our only complaint is you can smoke in the restaurant, we are not smokers and our state doesn't allow it in restaurants so that was a bit of a bummer. The restaurant is in a strip mall so use your GPS to find it

you know thoes diners you would see in 80's movie where theres a old couple having breakfast food, or a old guy drinking a coffee, and smokng a cigarette at the counter. well look no more if you were looking. you have arrived. first off if you see a open seat you take it. the food here is mighty tasty. the staff is super friendly, and full of life. i asked what are you guys known for to the waitress,and she said the biscuits and gravy, and the hot beef sandwich. she said we've been here 26 years, and were just a diner. this place is more than that. the foods awesome. the staff is awesome, and you would be doing yourself a injustice by not eating here.

Food was delicious. Service excellent. Great value. The reason I’m taking 1star is because this is a smoking restaurant.

If traveling has taught me anything, it's that the people you get to meet are the best part of a trip, and to find where they go to eat is one of the best ways to meet them... and find some of the best food is. THIS is the place, and THESE are the people. FANTASTIC!
