The rice was pretty good and the sauce(honey braised) on the wings was great, but the chicken could definitely use some seasoning. It was pretty bland. I wasn't impressed, but I'm willing to give them another try to see if the chicken is better.”

This establishment is so clean, you can tell the staff and owners take great pride and joy in the food they make as well as customer service. I would recommend anyone who wants some great tasting food or Ice cream to check this spot out. It is definitely superior to “Taco Rico” or anything in the northland. You will be impressed and not disappointed as they have a vast menu including breakfast items drinks and more. La Monarca actually knows what they are doing behind the kitchen. Every time I come the food is consistent and made with love and care just like my abuelita (grandma) would make. “Had the Quzi. First time having Iraqi cuisine in the US. I'd say it was good. I'm pretty sure the meat is lamb, and it was fall off the bone. My personal opinion is that it needed a little salt but I'll also be the first to admit that my taste buds are accustomed to spicy/salty food. This was not spicy, as I'm sure it's not supposed to be. “As a chef I am very hard to please bu I have to say the did this little place right. Sushi Omakase is a restaurant I would expect to see in the city. The decor is classy and clean. The appetizer we got was tempura shrimp. The batter was perfectly crisp and the shrimp was moist. We ordered six different types of sushi and I have to say one of the best sushi places I. KC Missouri. I would highly recommend this little Gem to any foodie with a trained pallet or some o e just starting to eat sushi. Thank you chef Jerry”

“Such a special place we are lucky enough to have on this side of town! The shop itself is beautiful, from the main eating area to the back room. Also, there is a PATIO I cant wait to take advantage of once the weather clears up. The crepes themselves were AMAZING ????????????. We got the Original and Strawberry Cream (to go). I can honestly say I've never had better crepes. The portion size was perfect. The employees were warm and welcoming. I cant wait till our next visit to Crepe KC❤.”

“This is a great addition to the north oak retail area. I stopped in and got a shake and it was good. I was a little confused about the tea being part of the purchase, for $9 you get a shake and a tea, mostly because I was pretty unfamiliar with herbal life. This cafe is an herbal life headquarters that help distributors as well a sell shakes. It’s def different than your average smoothie shop.”

“This place has amazing pho. The noodles were so fresh. They make it on the spot so it does slow things down a bit compared to typical pho restaurants. The rare beef was sliced to perfection. Nicely cut. Not too thin and not too thick. The menu is simple and easy to go through. Will definitely come back when in Kansas city. Update 6/23: we came back! Remember to get the traditional noodles.”

“Great spot for an original experience! We enjoyed both the Korean BBQ and the broth. If it's your first time and not big on spicy food, try the Herbal Broth. I wouldn't recommend the combo veggies as most of them we didnt use in the broth. The meat combo though was plentiful. The grilling was fun but I wish the whole surface cooked evenly. Also the lady who mainly worked our table was extremely helpful and without her we would have been lost. I would recommend they assist new comers a little more so they don't feel lost and want to leave. But we will go back!”

“We had a delicious dinner herr! Three of us shared the sampler appetizer which is not pictured here. Reed got a sampler type of dinner, Alexis and I both got Bun, and Marian got a noodle soup which she devoured, literally eating every last noodle out of the adult-sized bowl despite the fact that she is four. The nibbling of her noodles was combined with all kinds of commentary and sounds about how delicious it was. This restaurant is very clean, the decor looks great, the presentation of the food was great, and it was delicious! Despite having a few fried items, we left feeling like we had a very healthy and well-balanced meal.”

“We’ve lived in the N Land for 10 plus years. My wife doesn’t really like pizza much, and lord knows the garden variety Pizza Hut, Dominos- they’re out. Great for feeding a barn raising crew in a pinch, but not good pizza. We had a gift certificate for Stone Canyon, so I visited the Gladstone location for a to-go order tonight. We had the Shrimp Scampi on regular crust, and a taco (chicken) on gluten free crust. Presentation was outstanding, pizzas are loaded up and you can see they’re made with care. Taste was nothing short of incredible. My wife loved it. gluten free crust is a little grainy, but anyone who eats gluten free knows that breads and pastas often tend to be... so this was expected rather than disappointing. We will definitely visit again, I’m not sure I will ever have anything other than the Scampi pizza because it was so good! 5 WELL DESERVED STARS, Stone Canyon!!! Thank you!”
