“My little girl injured her foot very badly on the front door last Memorial Day. Her injury required stitches. The young woman on staff that day was so incredibly kind and attentive. She personally called me later to check on my daughter, which I thought was very sweet. Dairy Queen made things right, which we appreciated because really we just wanted them to be aware of the door and possible injuries to others in the future. We just really appreciate how Dairy Queen handled this matter. Very kind and professional.”

“Such a special place we are lucky enough to have on this side of town! The shop itself is beautiful, from the main eating area to the back room. Also, there is a PATIO I cant wait to take advantage of once the weather clears up. The crepes themselves were AMAZING ????????????. We got the Original and Strawberry Cream (to go). I was a little confused about the tea being part of the purchase, for $9 you get a shake and a tea, mostly because I was pretty unfamiliar with herbal life. This cafe is an herbal life headquarters that help distributors as well a sell shakes. It’s def different than your average smoothie shop.”

“This place has amazing pho. The noodles were so fresh. They make it on the spot so it does slow things down a bit compared to typical pho restaurants. The rare beef was sliced to perfection. Nicely cut. Not too thin and not too thick. The menu is simple and easy to go through. Will definitely come back when in Kansas city. Update 6/23: we came back! Remember to get the traditional noodles.”

“Great spot for an original experience! We enjoyed both the Korean BBQ and the broth. If it's your first time and not big on spicy food, try the Herbal Broth. I wouldn't recommend the combo veggies as most of them we didnt use in the broth. The meat combo though was plentiful. The grilling was fun but I wish the whole surface cooked evenly. Also the lady who mainly worked our table was extremely helpful and without her we would have been lost. I would recommend they assist new comers a little more so they don't feel lost and want to leave. But we will go back!”

“We had a delicious dinner herr! Three of us shared the sampler appetizer which is not pictured here. Reed got a sampler type of dinner, Alexis and I both got Bun, and Marian got a noodle soup which she devoured, literally eating every last noodle out of the adult-sized bowl despite the fact that she is four. The nibbling of her noodles was combined with all kinds of commentary and sounds about how delicious it was. This restaurant is very clean, the decor looks great, the presentation of the food was great, and it was delicious! Despite having a few fried items, we left feeling like we had a very healthy and well-balanced meal.”

Even though they were swamped and dealing with some inconceivably rude patrons, they were incredibly kind and provided their usual excellent service, apologizing for the wait and offering free drinks to everyone waiting. It’s Cinco de Mayo and we’re in the middle of a pandemic, so tonight could not have been easy. The staff handled it with grace above and beyond what anyone should expect, and I hope they know they’re appreciated! Despite the wait, our food was as hot and delicious as always! We will definitely continue to support this wonderful local business. Life is tough right now and we’re all learning how to navigate it. We should all remember to be patient and kind to one another.”

“We’ve lived in the N Land for 10 plus years. My wife doesn’t really like pizza much, and lord knows the garden variety Pizza Hut, Dominos- they’re out. Great for feeding a barn raising crew in a pinch, but not good pizza. We had a gift certificate for Stone Canyon, so I visited the Gladstone location for a to-go order tonight. We had the Shrimp Scampi on regular crust, and a taco (chicken) on gluten free crust. Presentation was outstanding, pizzas are loaded up and you can see they’re made with care. Taste was nothing short of incredible. My wife loved it. gluten free crust is a little grainy, but anyone who eats gluten free knows that breads and pastas often tend to be... so this was expected rather than disappointing. We will definitely visit again, I’m not sure I will ever have anything other than the Scampi pizza because it was so good! 5 WELL DESERVED STARS, Stone Canyon!!! Thank you!”

But after eating and having a few rounds, the bartender asked our party of 6 to move from the bar where we were all setting together to the other side of the bar which had room for 3 people to set and the other 3 to set at a table. She wanted to make room for the pool league people. It definitely showed us how important our business was to her. We left.”
