Smokin' Bob's BBQ

First time diners; burnt ends were very good, wife loved the chicken and coleslaw and l liked the baked beans, all for an affordable price.

What a fun place. The gents behind the counter were delightful, cheerful, silly and quite efficient. The food? Bbq to hum over, succulent, juicy, and four choices of sauce on the side. You can also buy their sauces by the bottle. I highly recommend it.

Great BBQ! The restaurant is nice and bright, with lots of windows in the front. You order at the counter, then find a seat if eating in.

I had the brisket Sandwich, with smoked beans, and yes - smoked blueberry cheesecake!

The sandwich was a good size with plenty of meat. Brisket was delicious - good spicy bark, very tender, and good smoke flavor. Next time I might add sausage, but can't imagine NOT getting either the brisket or burnt ends. Very well done!

I try the beans at all the BBQ places I go - these are some of the best. Didn't need to doctor them at all, which is saying something. Great flavor, and you taste the smoke, which is excellent. There is a bit of BBQ sauce in them, but it doesn't overwhelm the rest of the flavors. I've heard a LOT about their smoked mac and cheese, so I'll try that next time (although I'll still probably get the beans - lol).

Smoked blueberry cheesecake?? If you haven't tried this you need to. The smoke is light, but it's there, and it goes great with the other flavors - especially the blueberries (in a reduced syrup) that goes on the top. The cheesecake itself is good - not too heavy - with a graham cracker crust. I think this is the only place I've ever even SEEN smoked desserts. Again - try this! Unique combination of flavors that works well.

Obviously a great experience. Looking forward to going back again soon.

My wife and I each ordered the brisket sandwich. It was wonderful. So tender it practically melts in your mouth. The smoke flavor was incredible. Not too overpowering, but just right. I'd give it more than 5 stars but there aren't more.
