“Beautiful place. Great scenery. Good food. Great salad bar and soup. The broccoli cheddar soup is consistently amazing. If that's your thing you absolutely have to have it. If you're in the area or visiting the state park this is a must. They have a nice antique store and great history of their building. If you have time you should schedule a tour too. They do events as well, though have not personally utilized it I feel the owner whom I've spoke with on several occasions is competent and enjoys what she does.”

“We had an amazing lunch experience after a fun filled day at Elephant Rock State Park. We called ahead to ask if they had a patio where we could bring our dogs and we were told yes. When we arrived, we were met by our server April and she took us to a fabulous segregated part of the patio. The food was awesome.....must try the cheese cubes, fish tacos and the beets (best ever). Although we were the only ones sitting out there; April made sure we didn’t want for anything. She was always refilling waters, teas, clearing away the old dishes. She even brought our dogs a bowl of water. The icing on the cake was the super nice bathrooms I hat were clean, and well stocked. We will make this part of our tradition when in this part of the state!”

“This restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday. I got the impression we were supposed to have reservations, but we were seated right away. You order and pay at the front counter, then sit anywhere you want. The food was very good, and portions were large. The decor is very interesting-almost like being in an antique store! Check out the huge collection of violins! The small stage at one end is used on occasion, probably during the music fest weekend.”
