I guess it depends on who's working cashier most times you get someone nice and respectful other times you can get someone who'll run you off and not make you want to come back. “Ate here at an off-peak time while on vacation. Very slow in there, yet our waitress seemed disorganized, or perhaps unmotivated. Slow with refills, items we asked for, etc. Food was somewhat cold on the chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. Breakfast items were hot and good though. Excellent busy Father's Day Lunch. They were all hands on deck with super service and table turnaround. As usual all of our six dishes were delicious chosen from impressive breakfast and lunch menus. We were told a 40 minutes wait and were called at 25 minutes.”

“Lovely little visit after church. Grabbed a dozen doughnuts and a couple of coffees. The girls had iced coffee and we got a mixed variety. Fair price and neat as a pin. Decorated cute for Christmas and a manager hopped up from his bookwork to help ilia instead of waiting for other staff behind the counter. I appreciate that. I’m not typically a big chain donut type of guy but this one did the trick. I think a dozen doughnuts and a regular and an iced coffee for maybe ~$17.”

“This is a very small restaurant in a strip mall but it is great. We have been twice and both times ordered the exact same items to check consistency and we were not disappointed. The catfish is fried to order and it may take a bit longer if there are people waiting as our second visit did. The fried catfish is crunchy and fresh not greasy or fishy at all. The batter is flour and cornmeal so it has a terrific texture and they use some seasonings it is so it isn't bland. The greens are different and a bit spicy, I love a good bowl of greens and these were fantastic and for me addictive! They are always nice when taking and filling order. There are only a few tables so we get it to go and it's still good when we get home we just warm it a bit up in the oven for the fish and the microwave for the greens if needed.”

Had food delivered to table in under 2 minutes. Even the bathrooms were clean. Relatively recent renovation, nice visit.”
