“Curly fries were brought from the heavens and given to Arby's to distribute. Please do not squander what you have been given. Accompany this delicious treat with a beef and cheddar then all will be right in the world. Food was really good but they were busy and the tables and floors were a little dirty. I had always heard good things about Honey Baked Ham, but I was sorely disappointed with the food. It certainly does not live up to its billing. “Some of the prices are quite steep, but the portions are actually quite filling. I would recommend only getting the "lunch size," as it is available all day, and not only during lunch hours. It was quite ironic that the HyVee coffee was served in a Caribou Coffee cup with a Starbucks Coffee sleeve. I don't think they fully thought that out. I'm sure the competitors wouldn't like that much, but at least everyone is getting a piece of the marketing. If you do order an app, be sure to ask if it comes with a salad before purchasing an additional or even side salad. Also, check your ticket before paying. As with most places, the host tend to make a mistake with overcharging when there are more than two things ordered. No exception here. They did get it corrected, but it usually takes a while. There weren't many complaints aside from the prices. Sundays are half price apps, so always check out the specials before going! The menu also needs to be updated, as there are a few things missing that we had to ask the staff about, and they didn't seem the most knowledgeable. It needs to include the buffet price. The guy helping us also didn't know the difference between the tostadas and the flatbread. The menu said it was the same thing, but he said it wasn't. One of them would be incorrect. After ordering, they were clearly the same as a regular flatbread. That only upset me because we already knew that, it said it on the menu to confirm, and he gave this smuggish condescending response as if WE were the ones who said something wrong. Overall, decent. The chips were really salty, though.”

“To start this restaurant is amazing! The ambience is nice with dim lighting ( my gf and I went in the evening) we got sat right away. Our server I think was the bartender as well. She was very polite and answered any question we had on the menu and even recommended some things to try. The food was delicious. Tasted very fresh and hot , so much flavor. One of the better Italian restaurants I’ve been to! Thank you Salvatore for an awesome dinner, I recommend and I will be back!!!!”

“Went to the 40 hwy location 2/26/20. Had coupon. Two of us ordered the half rib dinner with 2 sides. The vegetables were only warm, plate was warm but ribs were only room temperature maybe because we waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive while it was most likely sitting in the kitchen unattended cooling off. One person ordered the pasta chicken. His food was not warm. There were plenty of workers and not many customers so not sure why it was lacking in taste, temperature and flavor. The restaurant was also cold like the food and I'm always to warm. I should give a lower rating except the vegetables were good.. Server was nice, place was clean but the food sure has gone down hill. This use to be a good place but something seems off as I have never had any issues. If I had not had a coupon I would have sent the food back. I mean the price was way to high for not even warm food.”

“We came in this evening for dinner because it was close to the highway. Husband said his chicken tenders were the best he's ever had and my $11 sirloin steak was very tender. We do our fair share of fine dining and our meals at Denny's tonight were nothing to sneeze at. They weren't very busy due to the storm but our food was out quickly and service was friendly. Definitely a solid and safe stop for travelers.”

Especially love a special section in the menu for vegetarian dishes. The entire staff seemed well coordinated in making the guests feel special. You feel welcome. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared and presented with finesse. Many Mexican style restaurants fill the serving plate to overflow and try to impress the guests with quantity. Not so here. Quality is supreme and you taste the difference. The salsa and other sauces are blended with authentic ingredients and taste great. The tortilla chips are light, non-greasy and warm. “We travel up 44 all the time to St. Louis and Captain D's is usually where we stop for lunch. The food is always great--hot, fresh and so delicious and so many choices and new specials. The service is always good. They greet you when you come in. They tell you goodbye when you leave. Today the manager even held the door for us to go out. They are just so thoughtful and nice and restaurant so clean too. A great place to have lunch or dinner!”
