Jack Stack Barbecue

Loved coming here during my KC trip last fall. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries and a drink during my visit, and all of these items were exceptionally good. I also love the rustic yet modern decor, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the vibrant atmosphere. Although the food is somewhat pricey, Jack Stack's quality barbecue was absolutely worth it. Overall, a great restaurant in the Plaza area serving authentic KC BBQ.

Adam aka “Chris” the bartender gave us great service and conversation. Wings were ok but the beef and pork tips were money. What really shined was the slaw. I’m going to circle back next time I’m in KC.

We had a great lunch at the restaurant! Our waiter was outstanding. He made several recommendations that were spot on! He was pleasant and fun. Our food was excellent and just the right amount for lunch. The value for cost was perfect! Fried mushrooms-delicious Fried onion rings - huge & delicious Sliced meat plate - very good and enough to serve two! Blackberry lemonade- yum!

Great BBQ! Jumbo fried mushrooms with horseradish sauce are huge, light and airy. Lamb ribs are amazing. The flavors will blow you away. I had them as part of combo. Next time I'll just have the lamb ribs plate.
