KC DAIQUIRI SHOP

The flavors of the food and drinks was great. However, the customer service was not great and i left very upset and disappointed in my choice to try the place. I saw the great reviews and thought, “why not?”

I ordered online and walked in. The food was ready to go, but the order was in correct, and we didn’t notice until we got home (30 minutes away). I had to wait to receive help for over ten minutes. It was so long i got a call from my friend asking if i was okay and everything was okay. There were ladies in front of me that order a lot, but I saw four other people sitting and not helping the lady work the register and getting the drinks. I tried standing in front of the office door asking for help, since i ordered online and didn’t need to order or pay, they just looked and didn’t help. Finally i was helped by the lady. I requested a gallon, as said on line, but only got two half gallons, so i paid for more than what i got. Since it was split in half, i asked if i could get two flavors, i was told no. Then the light was on, on one of the machines, so i asked if i could do a different flavor, was told no again. From there, the lady sat the jugs on the counter and just walked off. I got no lids and was not told “thanks for coming” or anything. So i grabbed my stuff and left, on the way out, i had an employee see me struggling and closed the door on me and didn’t offer to hold it open.

In addition, i heard the phone ring MANY times while there and it was not answered, even though people were there to answer it.

Overall, i am not pleased. The only reason it’s not getting one star is because the flavor is good. Absolutely terrible customer service though and it wasn’t even busy at this time (Wednesday around 3-4).

I really like this place, probably the best wings in the area, service is very good.. prices are somewhat fair, some may find it a bit pricey.. I personally think prices are fair, the food is excellent! The only thing stopping this from being a 5 start is the fact they only have 3 flavors for wings, Buffalo/honey barbeque/dry rub Cajun.. I have tried them all and I enjoy them all and I also love the blucheese dip., I definitely recommend this place.

The staff was amazing the food was amazing & their cigar selection was a nice touch of not only elegance but good selection. Kinley was very knowledgeable & friendly. I had the chicken gumbo & a Strawberry & Hurricane daiquiri that was very full of flavor not just drowned out in alcohol like most spots. This is definitely a very relaxed environment & definitely makes me miss the Big Easy BUT hey why not bring the New Orleans to KC. Great job & will definitely recommend this to all of my associates.
