Had the star shadow eclair #1 thing on the menu can’t wait to try it as a waffle slider. My friend had the spirit moon eclair and was blown away in food ecstasy. We shared the meatloaf and it was to die for. Very kind staff and the entire cafe is full of life, definitely recommend
Interesting little stop-in at the River Market with an overwhelmingly long menu. We got a couple of eclairs (there were too many to choose from, so I just took the recommendation on 2 random ones) and they were GOOD, but a little overpriced and very messy. The coffees were fine. I'd like to try more menu items in the future to diversify my opinion of their choices, but there are just SO many.
Edit: I tried the ice cream cones - the chocolate scoop in a chocolate cone is a chocoholics paradise. Nice and chunky and worth the money. They put lucky charms marshmallows at the bottom of the cone. I sampled a few other flavors and they were all pretty decadent.
Amazing! Huge portions of food. Wonderful eclairs and cream puffs. I encourage anyone to try the mystery drink. Very unique. Friendly service
I've given this place a couple of tries since they opened, and while the customer service is great (I love the staff!), the dishes we had were not quite up to the quality we were expecting.
Our first couple of dishes (gumbo and chili) were essentially all broth. There was a serious lack of veggies, rice, and meat - especially when compared to their previous establishment.
Our second attempt (meatloaf and mac & cheese) was slightly better, in that the mac & cheese still holds up. The meatloaf portion was rather small and didn't have much flavor to it.
I don't know if I've somehow managed to drop by during "off days" or not, but it may be a while before I give it another try.
I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! Another amazing concept by Chef Bryan. My husband and I stopped in for their soft opening and tried it all. My favorite was definitely the profiteroles - pastry filled with ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce! There are so many crepe and eclair flavors to choose from; we can’t wait to come back!
