Levee Bar & Grill

This is one of my favorite bars in Kansas city! They always have great live music and a great bunch! They just redid their upstairs deck which is perfect for drinking some of their delicious cocktails by a fire. They also have multiple spaces for large parties. Ive always have had a blast at the Levee.

The Levee has been around for decades. It's under new(ish) ownership. First comment is on the happy hour. I had the BBQ and the pastrami sliders. The BBQ were just ok. The pastrami should NOT be on the menu. I haven't had this bad of meat at any bar. I couldn't get past one bite, nor could my friend. The happy hour otherwise is good for the price point.

The patio is enclosed with plastic for the winter and with only one or two smokers, it was intolerable in there.

Levee has a live music venue downstairs, so expect a cover when there's a band. Upstairs they have bar games. There's an event space next door under the same ownership. It's usually a very laid back crowd in there.

Great place when s good band is there. A bit small dance floor but nice's prices on food and drink. Parking quite good.

Always a great time. Fun, entertaining, and a wonderful community where all are welcome. We enjoy gathering with our various friend groups for celebrations or simply to hang out.

I went in on around 8pm on Saturday night... The place was crowded.. The music was a live band... Playing 60' s music... The dance floor was packed.. I danced and enjoyed the good jibe of the atmosphere... It was an older crowd..not a bunch of kids..I liked that... The place reminds me of a big tree house that has many levels..it was peaceful upstairs... Music still ringed out.. It was crowded up above... I guess they have a wide variety of bands that play there... They offer normal type bar food... I enjoyed myself.. And give it a thumbs up...
