Really a 4.8 rating, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for a KC formal sit down BBQ. Brisket is very good, crown Ribs are fantastic and sandwiches are phenomenal. Recommend the burnt ends (pork and beef) as an appetizer. The sides are great, really probably the best I ever had at a BBQ. The molten carrot cake is the best I have ever had anywhere (sorry Mom). This place is great for large groups/families.
First Visit. Definitely going back. My mouth started watering as soon as we stepped in the door. Had a 7:30 reservation. Recommend backing one on a Friday night unless u dont might a little wait. Rustic but elegant decor. Service was good and not only were the portions appropriate but the food was better than it smells.
This is the way BBQ was intended to be smoked all along. All the portions we ate we're moist, flavorful, and very appealing to the eyes. The plate was setup very well with everything complimenting each other. I had beef ribs, chicken, and burnt ends. We really loved the cheesey corn side dish as well. We didn't have room for any dessert but it looked yummy. The customer service was awesome and appreciated. Thank you Jack Stack.
I had a spiritual experience eating here. Words can’t explain. Let’s just say this California boys eyes have been opened to straight glory and happiness. My body has been blessed.
I ordered the chicken club with bacon and pepper Jack and Chipotle ranch. It came with fries and Cheesy Corn. The sweet tea was great. The service was adequate. The sandwich was amazing. Best I can remember, ever. Fries were good but the cheesy corn is basically cheese sauce with some corn in it.
