New favorite restaurant! Seriously so so delicious. Highly recommend the Arancini! We got the charcuterie bites and the KC strip with potato pavè. All were fabulous! Super fresh and unique flavors! Lilly and Maddie served us and did a fabulous job! Can’t wait to go again! Super fun that their menu changes seasonally as well.

My friend and I felt like Sunday brunch and had a reservation booked, just incase.

The ambience is light, modern, trendy, intelligently lit on the interior and an equally inviting outdoor dining area. The music selection was also just right, not super loud and overpowering and enough to put everyone in a chipper state and not want to strangle a dj somewhere.

The service is impeccable. Although not super formal, there's an element of high quality service that comes through the venue itself and the staff. They're casual and fun, but still extremely professional. I loved that, as it my first visit to this restaurant. They were accommodating on a whim and let my friend and I move from indoor seating to outdoors with ease and no objection.

The food fell directly into above standards, quite comfortably, I'd say. Excellent presentation, flavorful, serving size quite ample and had various fresh, interesting, delicious sounding options for a Ketoian like myself too.
Because it was brunch, we kept our choices light for the time of day.
I asked for an omelet ( a la carte) and my friend went with a freshly made salad.

I can't sing praises enough for a memorable experience and would suggest this venue for any type of gathering you might have in mind. I have a feeling it would fit right in;)

This is the best new restaurant in town!!! Great ambience, excellent staff! The food is all fresh and made in house! Seasonal cuisine so they will change up their menu several times a year. They also have a great patio for when the weather is nice!

Was a slow Monday night, so we got seated right away. Server came quickly got drinks, suggested an appetizer, ordered our food…everything came out quickly and hot and fresh.
The burger was just a normal burger, nothing special.
The Potato Pave I got was good but lacked flavor, maybe putting a sauce on it was help with that.

We will be going back to try out more of the menu. As well as when the season changes, we are interested to see how it changes the menu.

Our meal at Roots was absolutely delicious, and I'm thrilled to have this new local option in Lee's Summit. The atmosphere is casual with standout elements of wood paneling. It's not overly stuffy, so jeans are perfectly appropriate ... yet you could also dress up and get a nice dinner and cocktails here for date night. I appreciate that Roots chefs and owners plan to rotate their menu seasonally, focusing on fresh, local produce. When you go, order the pineapple jalapeño margarita and the potato skins for starters! For our entrees, we ordered the sea bass and the pork tenderloin, and both were delicious and perfectly prepared. Sad to have not ordered the Roots carrot cake cookie sandwiches for dessert, but it gives us a great reason to go back.
