Me and my husband stopped in here after getting his hair cut next door. We got an appetizer of crab ragoons, which were delicious! He got the beef lo mein and I got cashew chicken for entrees. I was a bit confused when my food arrived with celery and carrots over most of the plate. I'm from Springfield, so I'm used to cashew chicken being crispy pieces of chicken with a gravy like sauce, green onions and cashews. What I had was a sauteed chicken in a soy sauce heavy sauce with carrots and celery. I didn't want to be rude so I didn't say anything. I love supporting small businesses and know that it would hurt them to bring me more food. I also hate wasting food. I ate my steamed rice and my husband really liked his meal! She asked if we wanted a box at the end and my husband said no, she didn't really enjoy it. I explained I'm used to Springfield cashew chicken. She went back and made me a plate of Springfield style cashew chicken with what they had. It was pretty good, but the best part of it all was her effort to be kind and accommodate me. A nice bonus was the sugar donuts at the end! ???? great place, great waitress.
