“I live in mid-Missouri, but I am in the KC region often. I discovered this little gem of a place getting gas at the Bates exit. I was very hungry and was looking at the little bit of food at the gas station, when a guy walking past told me about Bates City BBQ and it is literally just a block away. I went in and the food was great. If I am in the area and I am going to eat I ALWAYS stop here-unless they are closed (stupid Mondays).”
