“When my side salad came before the meal, I was horrified. Iceberg lettuce that was yellow, white, and wilted. The salad looked like it had been made three days ago. After seeing it, I was very worried what my main dish would be like. Fortunately, the lobster ravioli with fettuccine sauce was absolutely divine! So delicious! The sauce was creamy and flavorful, with tiny little pieces of onion in it to add a mild crunch. The ravioli itself was stuffed well with lobster, and there was a large amount for the price. My son had chicken-fried steak. His entire meal was delicious. If it weren't for the horrible salad, I would definitely give this restaurant five stars.”

“We stopped early afternoon on 9/17/2021. Only one guy working and he was very friendly and professional. This store is extremely clean!! Our sandwich ( we split a footlong) was made perfectly and fresh. We had been on the road for 7 days at this point and been to other Subways along the way, so trust me when I say we had other comparisons!! It was nice to relax in a quiet atmoshere.”

“Small town, family owned and operated restaurant serving some amazing home cooking. Hand-breaded chicken, grilled chicken tenders, wonderful sides and cold sweet tea and lemonade are hits at this homey downtown eatery. The server is knowledgable, efficient, and friendly. The owner and staff take pride in operating a super-clean front-of-house and the food is amazing. I had the grilled chicken tenders, green beans, sweet potato fries, and unsweetened tea. The homemade buffalo and honey mustard dipping sauces were delicious complements to the meal. Don't drive through downtown Monroe City without stopping for good conversation and great food at this gem of Americana.”

“This place was GREAT!! Made me fell like I was back home😀 Aaron the bar tender was Awesome.. Before letting him know I stopped in from traveling. He showed me nothing but Love. The kitchen was closed when I arrived in Aaron didn’t care he open it back up to make me Catfish & Fries it was deliciously good & hot. This is the place if you want to break are simply in town for a visit. I highly recommend you stop in. Thanks Aaron.”
