“The venue exceeded our expectations. The character of the building made our gathering (large rehearsal dinner) perfect. The details made it "extra"- the fireplace, the cool bar, the couches, the patios, etc. There were spaces to have small conversations, and it also allowed for large groups. “Chose to eat here at a time that was not busy. There was a party of 4 on the patio, 2 at the bar, and 2 of us. We ordered our drinks, which came quickly. We expected to have our food orders taken, but we had to grab the server's attention to place our order. We ordered the poutine, which was AMAZING. The appetizer portion is huge! We added the brisket on top, and it really was delicious. For my late lunch, I ordered a single burger with slaw. The burger was very tasty and all fresh beef. The slaw was not my style; however, is tasty if you like vinegar. I asked for ranch on the side and was given blue cheese. Luckily, I like blue cheese. For my drink, I ordered a mule, which was refreshing. We did have to ask for our check. While the server was friendly, it definitely knocked a star off to have to ask to order and ask to pay. The owner was friendly, and I'm excited to see what he does with the patio in the spring.”

“The food was great! The service was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and checked in with us regularly. We really enjoyed the hummus platter, the falafel, and the wings. We tried two wing flavors ( honey hot and lemon garlic) and some house dips. Our favorite dip was the garlic dip. It is made in house and it is delicious. It is the first time I have found it in a local restaurant. I came in to check them out and was happy to find good food and great service. Best of all it is a family run local business.”

“Standard first time visit order. Burnt Ends, Beans & Potato Salad. Meat was superb. Succulent and tender and not either over rubbed or smoked. Taste of the proteins really stood on their own. Beans were done with a light green chili flavor which was nice, but lacked any real depth of flavor. The 'loaded' potato salad was fresh and served cold. The portions were generous and both my wife and I left satisfied with a little to enjoy later. Well done.”
