Tokyo Sushi

We come here often and it is always a good experience. The staff is friendly, and we are always seated quickly. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is decorated well with a pleasant Japanese theme.

The ginger dressing on their house salad and Tokyo Garden Salad is amazing! Highly recommend! Miso soup and seaweed salad are also very good.

Their sushi, sashimi, and rolls are some of what I would consider the best in town, and reasonably priced. Not the cheapest, but hey, sushi isn't cheap, and if it is, it probably isn't very good! Sometimes it can take a while to get your order, but the quality is good and generally worth the wait if there is one.

Good sake selection for those who like to partake.

Tokyo Sushi is in our regular rotation, and we plan on keeping it there for a while! Highly recommend!

The food was on par with an average Japanese sushi restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is modern but with cultural Flair and just the right amount. It did take 50 minutes for a mere three sushi rolls and that was disappointing, but not enough so to keep us from returning the next time.

Sushi was ok. Presentation was plane. Other sushi places in the area are better. Prices were higher than most. We like a lot of Wasabi. We told the server that and asked for more when we saw the little amount they gave us. His response was. Finish that then I will bring more. Said in a rude tone

I usually love this place. I am a big fan of their Agedashi Tofu and their house salad w/ginger dressing. They are very friendly and helpful.

HOWEVER, as there is always risk with consuming raw and/or undercooked fish, I have gotten sick here on multiple occasions. For a while I just stayed away from what made me a bit sick.

Recently, I got really sick from the food. It was unusually warm so I am curious as to if it was stored properly ahead of time. I never felt as bad as I did this last time. I ate lunch before I went to my afternoon class and at the break time/halfway point of class I left because I did not feel well.

I love everything about this place. It is quiet and peacefull the staff is amazing, and they are very polite. My favorite item is the spicy tuna roll. I believe it is the best in St Louis. And their tempura is light and crispy its a wonderful appetizer
