“My husband and I stopped at Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Grill & Pub for lunch on a recent trip to St. Louis. The food was great, but the service left more to be desired. Our waitress was simply not friendly. She also got our drink orders wrong, which would have been fine if she had been a bit more friendly. We had to hunt her down when we were ready to leave (after waiting about 15 minutes for a ticket after we finished our food). I think they just didn't have enough waitresses to staff the place because there was a banquet room full of people for a birthday party. The food, however, was delicious. I had the Irish beef stew and my husband had the roast beef on cheesy garlic bread. We both really enjoyed our dishes.”

“Who doesn't love a quick morning breakfast stop? Still getting use to the self order stations, but I'm learning. The upgraded interior is nice and relaxing. The workers were pleasant and helpful. While we were there three people came in separately and must be regulars as the women behind the counter greeted them with , "Morning. Will you be having your usual." That simple greeting makes all the difference!”

“The wait was quoted accurately; our server Deanna, while very new, was superb! One of our steaks was over cooked and she promptly had it recooked. The manager came by and had no idea what had happened and double checked the status of the steak and had it rushed out. Very professional and certainly making sure we were happy. It was a bit crowded and we still got our food out to us in a decent time. The only complaint I have is the parking. Very small parking lot, especially on busy nights!”

“Ok, this is not going to be a short review, there is several things that need to be on the record .. Let me start off by saying that I have eaten at many Hardee's locations, and this one has to be the best by far for two reason, the gentleman I believe to be the afternoon/ evening manager was out of this world. He was extremely nice and made me and my grandson comfortable...he was just really super nice.....then the gentleman I think is the evening head cook did a amazing job on our food. It was the best food I had ate my whole trip....I would venture to say why this locations makes money is because of those two gentleman. The head cook even talked to me about how he grew up in the kitchen cooking with his mom....if this Hardee's ever separates these two it will surely hurt business. Again, I will visit again and I would be happy to comment more if needed....they were great.........”

“I came in with a special friend who has a wheelchair and eats from a g-tube. We both came into eat. We were greeted with a smile and help with the door from an employee named Dani I do believe. She was super sweet. As we were eating another employee. I do believe her name was Shelly engaged my friend as he was eating. She treated him with kindness and compassion. This was a fantastic experience for my friend and I. All too often we are either ignored or stared at. This was a wonderful visit where we were accepted and appreciated. Thank you both! “I got the half rack of ribs and the beef brisket. The ribs were a generous portion and very meaty not too fatty. The ribs had good flavor but a little salty for my taste, however they put a glaze on top that is sweet and delicious. The beef brisket had excellent flavor and was very tender despite being cooked medium well because I like my beef brisket medium pink. The potato salad was a mayonnaise and mustard base which was delicious. The green beans were soft and bland.”

“This was my first time here. Definitely more upscale than the outside leads you to believe. However it still has a homey neighborhood restaurant feel. The service was exemplary! The food was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the stuffed fillet of sole. I do not like baked fish at all, never have, until now. I had the chicken mudega, it too was very yummy and the portion size was enough to take half home for me.the appetizer sampler was very good. They have some of the best toasted ravioli in our city in my opinion. We will definitely be back!”

“I haven't been in there personally, but have had food brought for me from there and it was great. I don't usually give five stars, even if the restaurant is very good. But I have to say their chicken and onion rings are Awesome! The chicken was tender & seasoned well & breaded just right. It was not overly salted. Because salt doesn't equal well flavored food people. Their food is very flavorful. My mom has a problem when the food has too much sodium in it and she DID NOT have that problem here. I'm going to have to come in and get me a plate or if I have time sit in and eat. This may be my new favorite chicken place, plus I heard they do SHRIMP too!????????????”
