The Boardwalk Cafe

My college boyfriend and I drove down to St. Louis for Labor Day weekend in 2015 and happened upon this place for breakfast. We both got skillets and they were out of this world. I’ve been trying for awhile to find the name of this place so I can recommend it to other people. There’s something to be said for food so good that you can eat there once and still miss it 4 years later. Would highly recommend.

I liked the waiter— he was very friendly. Good end to a great day in St.Louis! Had a burger, They are BIG! It was good. Wish I could have stayed to chat with him more.

A great little location for breakfast and lunch, located in Webster Groves Old Orchard area adjacent to interstate 44. Breakfast is by far the best of their two meal offerings with a broad variety to choose from. The food is excellent, well prepared and not precocious in presentation. Your meal is served as ordered, reasonable preferences honored.
The establishment is basic, presentable, but your missing the point if you are there to critique the furnishings. There is ample seating until about 8:30 a.m. Service is usually very good, varies with client load but rarely proves poorly.
Pricing is reasonable and portions are not excessive nor wanting.
Truly a great way to start the day, or afternoon.

Went there the first time today with my sister. The food was GREAT, HUGE portions, at a great price! Our server was very nice! Got our order an food quick to the table,(10 mins or so). An the place was almost packed.

Every time my mom visits me from 4 hours away, she wants to come here. She has good taste. It's an adorable little hole in the wall that's cheap and delicious! It can sometimes be a long wait for a table on weekends, but that's because people know it's worth waiting! Almost everything (or possibly everything) on the menu is under $10 and you can't go wrong with any of it. You HAVE to get a skillet.
