Visited Kemoll’s in Westport for the first time early on a Saturday evening with a gal p. We sat at the bar, had fantastic service from John. Our Appetizer included meatballs & garlic cheese bread, which were delicious. The meatballs melted in your mouth. Both of our entrees were fantastic, and the chocolate love cake is so decadent. The decor and ambiance was perfect. They also had a piano player, who was fabulous, and only made our experience even more enjoyable. We also met the owner, Mark, as he walked around greeting guests, who was welcoming and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We will certainly be back, as this is probably one of my top 5 favorite restaurants now. I love that they recently moved to Westport, making them closer to where I live. This is the perfect place for an anniversary dinner, date night, when you want to impress someone, or just want some damn good Italian food!
Nice Italian restaurant. Need to make the reservation ahead of the time. I love their steak, which is very tender. The signature salad to me is a little too salty. The pasta’s portion is huge, but delicious.
The new location in Westport Plaza is beautiful! The food is phenomenal and the staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend going for dinner or lunch. You will not be disappointed!
I mean...I don't have too much to say. The food, the experience, the new location was all just "okay" to me. I wasn't "WOWED" like I've been times in the past. I appreciate the large portions though. If you decide to go, all there is to look at are walls (no more arch view ????) and make sure to bring a jacket or sweater...it was SO freaking cold in there! Summer's not even officially here yet and the A/C was on Arctic Igloo ???? which made for sort of an unpleasant dining experience and I was ready to go before my entree even arrived ????.
The food was amazing! I wasn't wowed by the crab cakes which were dry but everything else we had was to die for. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was phenomenal. The only issue is that it's difficult to find. GPS took me somewhere else and walking around it wasn't easy to locate. We ended up having to call and ask for directions. The other issue, which wasn't their fault, was that a lady at the table next to us was playing music on her phone. As much as I can enjoy a good Garth Brooks song I wasn't looking for it out of a phone speaker at a $200 dinner.
That aside I would definitely recommend it and go back for special occasions.
