“I was looking for a soul food restaurants as I'm not from the area. The restaurant I was looking for appeared to be out of business so I search again and found Cathy's. I called inquiring about the menu and was helped by a sweet kind young lady by the name of Jennifer. From the phone call up until the time I received my to-go order, the service was impeccable! The atmosphere is that of a loving family! The food, oh the food!! I couldn't decide what to get as everything appeared to be good. So I decided to get the Shrimp and Grits as well as the Seafood pasta. Both were delicious!! The Shrimp and Grits were my favorite. Oh my goodness! It was like a party in my mouth! All I can say is someone cooked the gravy/roux with nothing but love! I can't emphasize how good it was! The Seafood pasta was just as good, however I'm not a fan of spicy foods. It has a little kick but if you like a little spice this is the dish for you. Overall it was a delightful experience and the next time I'm in town I will be stopping in!”
