The restaurant is very elegant, beautiful place. The service and food were good, but I didn't feel it was quite up to par for the high prices. My strip steak cost $45 plus $10 for a side salad. The steak tasted good but was in need of trimming. It had a decent amount of unchewable gristle on the ends that should have been removed IMO.
Yes service is slower, but not in a bad way. This restaurant is an experience. You should plan on spending a couple hours there. Food is excellent. Sit back, have a good conversation while you enjoy an array of Italian cuisine. The owners care about this establishment and their customers. We were privileged to be able to hear the owner sing - and amazing evening. Happy New Year!
Truly wonderful classic Italian dinner at Dominic's Restaurant on The Hill in St Louis. Calamari perfect, scallops perfect and my favorite Italian dish, Osso Bucco, a veal Osso Bucco, wonderful! The veal was served over rice with this rich reduction that it baked in. Even served up the bone with a marrow fork which was delicious!
Thanks again Jasper Mirabile for the recommendation, it was a perfect meal at a classic Italian restaurant. Service was impeccable and I mean truly impeccable. Creme brulee, tiramisu and 2 double espressos finished it off perfect
This place is definitely a hidden gem. I took my girlfriend here last night for Valentines Day. Reservation was on time, took maybe 3 minutes to be seated. The place has low lighting, candles on the table, kind friendly staff, amazing food and a very relaxed atmosphere. All around a very nice place.
