Mayo Ketchup

Authentic and perfectly made. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The staff was very nice and inviting. The food.... WOW! On point! The food was delicious to say the least. We have sorely missed Puertorican food since moving north, but this food brought us back in an instant.

We came for brunch last Sunday 1.19.20 after Indoor Rock Climbing at Upper Limits. One of our members recommended this place because of the reviews and vegan options. Football was on and we weren't sure of the set up with the game and drinks but everything worked out perfectly! They sat us in the back with 2 tvs and three large tables. We had a big group, probably about 15 of us. The staff was super friendly. The owner introduced himself and constantly checked on us! The food was amazing! Everything tasted so fresh. A couple of our members are vegan and they had tons of options for them! They had just gotten their liquor license three days before which was nice! The food was relatively priced. A few of us took a tequila shot which was a bit pricey ($15) but heavily poured. It was at least 2 shots in each. Oh and they have these buffalo tostones. Basically fried plantains dipped in buffalo sauce! Everyone loved them We would highly recommend this place! Great atmosphere! Great food! Great vibes!

So good! I had the vegan rice bowl this time. Last time I tried their empanadas. Everything is delicious! And yes, they do serve "mayo ketchup" as a condiment.

Mayo Ketchup is a delicious spot in Lafayette Square to dine on casual Peruvian food. We just stopped in for a couple of appetizers, but there is a large menu that has a variety of tasty looking main courses. Definitely coming back to have dinner here.

Mayo Ketchup is outstanding. Flavorful food and great friendly staff. Everything is made to order fresh. They have all the spices and recipes that make you feel at home. Ben was a pleasure meeting and speaking to as well. Definitely, one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at.
