The happy hour drink deals here are amazing, and the cocktails were some of the best I've ever had. I'm giving them 5 stars based on drinks alone-they're seriously that good. The food was okay, the brisket sandwich was mostly fat and pretty small. The burger toppings were minimal, but the overall flavors were good. The wait staff is very nice, attentive and helpful. We will definitely return for cocktails, they are worth the trip- even without the happy hour prices!
The cocktails are stunning to the eye and the taste buds. Excellent date night environment.
Prohibition style libations, in a swanky historic atmosphere. Planter’s House, located in Lafayette Square is serving up stylish drinks along with delectable food items. Who wouldn’t want to come and experience an upscale dining experience for a price point that is hard to beat. The happy hour specials make it hard to pick just one. Come check out this unique cocktail bar and restaurant!
A cozy, friendly place. We went to enjoy a gin and tonic and enjoyed trying out their creative mixes. The prices are a little high but it was a charming evening with great service. Go early and take a walk around nearby stores and wine shops.
I had a great first time at Planter’s with my buddy. The food was very good—the fries are a must order, and the brisket sandwich was also super solid. The whiskey selection is excellent with reasonable prices, I’d recommend the house Manhattan as well. One of the co-owners was hanging around the bar, and was exceptionally generous with some rather uncommon bourbons. Overall a top notch bar with quality food to match. We’ll definitely be back!!
