I enjoyed the toasted ravioli.
The beef was packed with meat. The ravioli here is a little thicker than most other you will try. It was good but lacked a little crunch.
The pepperoni was excellent. The cheese and meat is the way to go.
In a city famous for toasted ravioli, the T-rav game better be strong if it’s the core menu item. Toasted’s game was SOLID. We had the buffalo and regular beef. Both were fantastic but we agreed the real stand out was the dessert ravioli. We had an apple cheesecake like one (can’t remember the menu name) and it was divine. I wish we had ordered two! An excellent addition to an insanely strong lineup at City Foundry.
AMAZING!!!! Tried all of the flavors and they were so delicious and creative. The potato was my favorite and the lemon blackberry gooey butter was absolutely phenomenal. And a super friendly staff. Will be returning for sure!!!
Really cool concept and executed well. A bit pricier than the normal stl toasted ravioli, but they’re also bigger and much better quality. They were out of the beef so I tried the spinach/artichoke and Buffalo chicken, however I actually got a couple of the loaded potato on accident too. All were tasty. Friendly staff. I’d definitely come back and would suggest you give it a try.
Stopped by here for a quick bite today. The guys working there were absolutely awesome. They were friendly and excited for their product.
Now, if you’re going to open a toasted ravioli restaurant in St Louis you better made a pretty darn good one. STL Toasted is **SO** close. Their presentation is immaculate and looks delicious on the plate. I had the Italian beef and 3 cheese toasted ravs with the house marinara.
The marinara is definitely top 5 I’ve had. Tons of flavor, perfect thickness. The actual pasta was well made and sturdy, but the taste just wasn’t there. It tasted bland like a slice of white bread (and not some artisan made type). The pasta needs just a bit more flavor in the lines of a little garlic or something to fully meld this good meal. The stuffings were perfect though and certainly made up for what the pasta lacked. Perfectly filled, good temperature, incredibly savory.
Please come try this place! I’ll certainly be back. Try for yourself as I am just one person with one palate! You guys are doing great work and I hope you continue and grow for years to come.
Normally I take more pictures but I dug in the second I sat down. Oh well! Next time.
