So delicious! This was our second time to the foundry. My husband and I shared chips and guacamole, a pork tamale, and the pork belly tacos. Absolutely fantastic flavor on all of these! We also had a side of some delicious hot sauce that was a little too spicy for us but we kept eating it because it was so good. Definitely going to be coming back here and trying more delicious food. Everyone was super nice and eager to hear our thoughts. Highly recommend!!

The City Foundry is an interesting place. A collection of "takeout" restaurants not unlike the old food courts at a mall BUT a much more upscale experience. Chef Alex, at Sureste served us a fantastic meal. We ordered two different tacos, cochinita pibil tacos and panuchos. Both were fantastic and full of flavor if a little messy. The two tacos each were more than enough for a meal but we splurged and also got a machete which was gorgeous to behold and also delicious. Let me put it this way. I turned many heads as I walked to our table. I even had people come up to our table and ask which restaurant provided us our meal and they went directly to Sureste to order their own.

Besides being a wonderful chef, Alex is a wonderful person. We are excited to see him doing so well and look forward to the opening his own location.

Wow... 2nd time to the City Foundry... after looking around the special here attracted me... then when talking to the guy behind the counter his passion for the food sold me on this being the place of my choosing this time. He even took a selfish with me. 😀

The portions were generous, the flavors were amazing, the meat had both tender and crispy qualities about it. The sauces they gave me each exploded with flavors... the Verde sauce they gave me was by a very long way the best Verde sauce I've ever had to date at any Mexican restaurant I've been to.

If I were to complain about something... it would be that it is pricey... my meal alone was $20 + tax... but the portions were large and I actually wasn't able to finish my plate.

I wish I would have taken pictures so I gave you all I got... what's left of my plate and the restaurant. LoL, sorry, I'll do better next time.

We chose to eat here because it is gluten free, and I'm so grateful we did. What a gem! The food was utterly delicious. Each dish boasts complex layers of flavor made possible by made-from-scratch love and high quality ingredients. These brothers from the Yucatan peninsula display true expertise. Highly recommend the crispy pork tacos.

Salsa was gpod but a little different. They char the tomatoes first. So the salsa is almost black . Good had lots of lime juice and cilantro .
The guacamole was great also .
The homemade chips weren't my favorite. Thicker than normal chips and extra fried. Really hard
