Three Monkeys

Wife and I both had the monkey burger, was really good. Cooked as requested medium rare. Fries were fries. Tater tots were over cooked. Wife's Bloody Mary was really good. I had an Old Fashion, that was okay. We also had deviled eggs, there were really good. I think they were qual eggs, they were so small. Pic is of Monkey Burger

We had not been to 3 monkeys for a couple of years and stopped in about 330 today. It has changed and is now more of a bar and sandwich place now. They had new owners that took over a couple of years ago. I was looking for kind food from they use to have for entrees which were very limited. I always liked going there until today when they changed over to pretty much the sandwich/salad shop. I doubt that will be going back since it has completely changed.

Sunday breakfast buffet was excellent for 23.00 they were really nice about going to the bar right before they closed it at 2 PM. Many places aren't because they have to wait for you to finish eating. With a little encouragement, my server got napkins and cleaned up liquid on the floor from a predecessor. She really didn't want to, believe me. I tipped her better because of it. Street parking and I found 3 spots. Parking lot has about 30 free spaces with one handicapped parking. One nice handicapped restroom, unisex. A delicious unique Brussels sprouts with cheese and aoli, I've never had it before and will go back. Many standard brunch items with some interesting surprises. Zach and Mary are so great, wonderful, authentic people and have done some great things to the new and improved three monkey. Burgers and salads here are superb, my husband and I visit about once a week or so. We haven't have the opportunity to try the pizzas but we hear great things. Love this place so much. Beers are great, the wine list is done very well, simple but great wines to choose from.

Went to this place this evening with a date. We ordered a large pizza, (Meat Lovers) 16". My date, not so great, but the pizza was. It was loaded and tasted great. The atmosphere was nice. Had I liked my date more, the evening would have been perfect!
