Top of the Rock

Phenomenal place to visit! There’s a natural history museum, family entertainment, the restaurant breakfast buffet is exceptional and I highly recommend doing the golf cart trail tour.

Be immersed in the beauty of the Ozarks with a golfcart ride of your life through the rocks, streams, caves and covered bridges in this unbelievable Ozark country side. Then top it off with an exquisite meal in the rustic ambiance of their Top of the Rock restaurant with amazing views from the top of this Ozark mountain. Don't forget their museum of the Ozarks, the golf course, lodging, marina and associated entertaining venues, but that is a whole other discussion.

Top of the Rock is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I went for a quick getaway for our anniversary and could not have picked a better place. A round of golf on their 9 hole course was fantastic way to spend an afternoon together. The course is amazingly beautiful and with each hole it got even better. The views were phenomenal and the course challenging. We’ll definitely be going back! The “cave tour” was a unique and special treat for all ages. The grounds are well kept and definitely worth the cost of admission. Would recommend!

There has never been a more beautiful place. You can get the very best pictures of waterfalls inside a cave and out. It's enjoyable for all ages. And to top it off the area by the church has absolutely gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect place for pictures on any occasion. We went for our maternity photos and they couldn't have turned out better.

We took the golf tour, and it was stunning! Lots of beautiful views, and places to stop and take photos.

The three stars is for the price. $10 to park (you get a $5 coupon), And $34 for the self-guided golf tour. There is a really neat bar inside one of the caves, and the drinks range from $3-10. We completed the tour in about 45 mins. And then, if we wanted to see the chapel but drive ourselves, it would be $10. OR, we could hitch a ride in the complimentary shuttle, that was PACKED with people, during a pandemic, for free. We could also go to the museum for an additional fee.

Essentially, paying $44 ($39 with a coupon), for one person to go on a golf tour seems excessive. And then, if you have any intention of viewing the other amenities, be sure to have your wallet on you. However, if you’re a family that loves to stop at every single scenic view to take photos together, then it might be worth it to you!
