“Played this course last August and it was in great shape. Unfortunately, late winter weather conditions has taken its toll on the greens. Most had very little live turf. A couple weren’t affected as much on the back nine. If nice greens are important, better check it out before paying. Sad turn of conditions and I hope the greens come back for them.”

“The golf course is nice and has a peaceful view and fountain. They didn’t have any burgers when we showed up and we asked what the best things on the menu were and he said everything. I got the bison gyro and it was very cold and bland unfortunately for 17 dollars. The brisket sandwich was okay. It wasn’t bad or good. But seemed to be overpriced for what we got. Also it closes pretty early which can be hard to get dinner.”

“I cannot rave about this place enough! Our service was great, the drink selection was excellent, they actually had several ciders on tap, which is awesome cause a lot of places don’t seem to have any. Their ambience was really nice. It wasn’t too loud or boisterous. We had the cubano sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! I would drive hours to have that sandwich again. Highly recommend”

“My family of 5 comes here a lot when we are in town. Red Lodge Pizza has something for everyone. My 3 kids ranging from 6-13 are always happy with their meal and ice cream for dessert is the cherry on top! This time we got a large pizza, mozzarella sticks, kid’s meal chicken strips, and a kid’s pizza by the slice. There is a mail theme sprinkled subtly through the restaurant. There are booths and tables and a bigger room in the back. Be careful, this place can get busy!! The staff is always friendly and work very hard.”

“I've been to this establishment several times and the food has always been fantastic and plentiful. The burger could not have been more perfect nor tastier. The bun of the burger was perfectly grilled golden brown, then mayonnaise, lettuce, onion, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, super crispy smokey bacon smothered with white American cheese. The fries are beer battered and about the best tasting there is. The atmosphere and ambience have an antique vib that looks straight out of an old western film. The owner Carl and all of his employees have always been kind, respectful and courteous towards me and everyone I've seen them engage with as well. I highly recommend visiting the Snag and maybe play some pool while you're waiting for your huge tasty burger and fries.”

“I stayed at The Pollard Hotel for 9 nights last November with my work colleague Everett. Our stay was truly exceptional. Sam at the front desk stood out with her kindness and local recommendations, making our experience extra special. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive, treating us almost like celebrities. Special mentions to Randy at Marli's and the helpful "Night Guy" (I can't remember his name but he was awesome). Sam's thoughtful gesture of holding onto our belongings during our three visits showcased their commitment to guest satisfaction. There are great racquetball courts in this hotel as well. Red Lodge itself is a gem with its art, culture, and kind people, not to mention the fun Bingo night at Snow Creek Saloon down the street. The Pollard Hotel is a must-visit, and I can't wait to return to this hidden treasure in Montana.”

“Black Canyon Bistro truly provides top notch, delicious provisions. The bacon wrapped dates were divine little bites of goodness. I could have eaten them like candy. The scallops were excellent, tender and flavorful, as they should be. The elk carpaccio was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, on top of simply being a high quality meat. The shrimp was cooked just right (I will say it was too salty though). The Brussels sprouts were just fine, but could be improved upon. Friends had the French onion soup and the steak & endive which they said were excellent as well. Our sweet waitress Aleah (probably spelling that wrong) took great care of us! looking forward to returning. P.s. they have happy hour even on weekends 4-6! The appetizer menu is $10, and $2 off signature cocktails and wines.”
