HuHot Mongolian Grill

This was my first time in a Huhot in a long time. I walked in and was almost immediately greeted. It was around 7 pm, and they were closing 2 areas, so I was told what area to sit in. I was also explained the card to place on the table and when to flip it.

The food all appeared good. Some vegetables seemed frozen but cooked fine. I had two plates cooked. The younger male cook attempted to hide his frustration with the crowd continuing to come inside. He did not do a good job. He continued to shake his head as new customers paid. I will say for being disgruntled, you could barely tell. He greeted you and was polite. There was just a little tone in his voice that you could tell he was frustrated.

There were several dirty tables and it appeared those cleaning were behind. Overall, I felt like the places lacked supervision or a leader to help get stuff under control. There were only small issues, but small issues can lead to big ones.

Overall, I was happy with my food. I was happy with the service. Employees need to realize that some people pay attention to the little things. The way things were could have turned off some people. However, I would come back without hesitation.

It's probably our favorite family restaurant in Billings.
Did is always fresh and hot and you can make it as simple as any kid wants or as complex as I like.
The cooks are very friendly and pay attention. I'm allergic to shrimp, so they have to clean the grill and have a special setup for me... They never make me feel like I'm a pain.

I've always loved Mongolian grills. It was the first place my parents were able to get me to eat vegetables of any type. This place is great. Pay up front, grab as much food and drink as you can manage, and enjoy every bite. If you don't like what you put together. Put it to the side and try again. There's no penalty for not getting it right.

They offer a wide variety of items to prepare for your meal. They cook the food in front of you in a circular format. They have unlimited trips to the grill.
