For being what I consider "in the middle of nowhere" (I'm from the west coast), this was a great find. All of the food was tasty, I especially liked the chicken skewers, crab rangoons, and the sweet potato sushi roll. The selection is smaller than I am used to in a buffet, but the food was good enough to go back for seconds of many of the dishes.
Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5:
The dim sum and the wontons needed lids to stay soft, this is an easy fix.
The styrofoam plates and plastic silverware were a turn off. So much waste!
For a run of the mill Chinese buffet, King's is decent. I've been eating there since they first opened, and it has always been a favorite. Unfortunately in recent years it has declined a bit in my opinion. Since the pandemic the atmosphere suffers due to them switching from actual plates and silverware to Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. And even before that they eliminated an entire bar worth of dishes to make room for about 6 trays of sushi. Personally I would have rather kept the dozen dishes eliminated and get sushi from someplace else. But that's just my opinion.
