“It's a little bit of a trip from where I live but the food here is reliably excellent. A couple nights back I had the special, it was their signature steak with a Cajun style sauce. Both The Taste and the presentation we're top quality. The place has that old small-town bar feel, great ambiance, and a lot of history on the walls to look at. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's always clean and smells nice in there, which is one of my pet peeves. I've never had a bad experience, thank you very much!”

“Summer Day Treasure, Sweet & Saucy A fun little ice cream shop in Hooper, NE (which is bigger than I thought) Sweet & Saucy. Great friendly staff serving up ice cream of all kinds of flavors, sizes and treats. They had pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and my favorite, deep fried pork tenderloins! They also had more than just fries or onion rings. They had fried green beans and a variety of appetizers I did not expect to find. I had the tenderloin and a wild cherry malt. Scrumdiddilyicious!! Oh, they seem to be open all year long, just with different hours. A Sweet & Saucy treasure!!”
