Khao Niao

This was our first time to order from this restaurant tonight (May 10). The food was delicious and high quality. We typically like pretty spicy Thai food so we thought we would be safe ordering medium on 3 dishes and mild on one just to see their spice level. The medium dishes were extremely spicy. I would say way too much for the average person. The mild was spicy and actually perfect. We did not finish the medium dishes as they were just too spicy but the taste was absolutely delicious so we will know for the next order to do the mild. Everyone has a different perspective of mild, medium and hot so I will not fault the restaurant. The spring rolls were really good and fresh and their peanut sauce was yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant and we all agreed this was the best curries we have had in Omaha. If you like really spicy I think the medium is perfect for you. I would be afraid to order hot. You can always order a side of their spicy sauce if you need it hotter.

Great food, we ordered (takeout) the Pad Thai Noodle (chicken) and red curry dish with spring rolls. The food quality was excellent, priced very well, and outstanding service. To the ownership: very well-done, we’ll be back!

I’ve struggled to find Thai food I like since moving back to Nebraska and Khao Niao is by far the best Thai food I’ve tried in the state (and I’ve tried a lot). I loved the crab Rangoon (the sauce!), the Pad See Ewe, and the Thai iced tea was awesome. Great service and friendly people working! I think it’s a family business. This place has become a regular staple for me! Definitely going to try out the curries next!
