Baby Blue Sushi Sake Grill

Atmosphere and food is wonderful! The servers are very kind as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family! It is on the expensive side, so pay attention to the prices when ordering!

Blue is a great place for sushi in Omaha. Their sashimi is fresh and tastes as it should (not like plastic like so many places in Omaha), and their rolls are delicious. They have a good selection of vegetarian rolls as well; our new favorite is the Green Goddess roll. We come here for date nights and with the family (they have beginner chopsticks for our youngest!) The service is always good, and their happy hour is great if you want to keep the cost down.

We had not been to Blue in quite some time prior to this visit. I will admit we ordered a little more than we needed but damn it was good. The manager spoke with us a couple of times. On his next visit to our seats he brought us a complimentary item. He stated we ordered all of his favorites and wanted us to try another one that was new on their menu. Now this may have been a line, who knows if he really did love the rolls we ordered. Either way he was incredible nice and thoughtful. I wish I had his name for reference but it made out night even better.

Crunchy Thursday! Thursdays are great at Blue because you get discounts on the 4 "Crunchy" sushi options. I tried Crunchy Red for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised by the crunchy beet coating. Also ordered the Crunchy L.A. and a Hawaiian roll as they are a go-to for me and never disappoint. As the drink menu has recently been updated I asked my server to recommend a new drink to try; she told me to try the Astral Kisser and I have 0 regrets. The tequila blends in really well with the ginger and fruits so it isn't overpowering.

Best Sushi, always beautifully fresh! Try the Shishito Peppers!
