One of the better sushi joints we've found in our travels across the country. Pleasantly surprised considering it's in a landlocked state.

Nice clean place. Our table had a beautiful view of a green space. A little bit smallish portions, but overall I can deal.

Great food as always, and moreso the waiter was awesome on this first day back with dine in service. It isn't easy to wear a mask with your glasses fogging up and still provide fabulous service.
    Thanks for a nice dinner

Blue is my favorite sushi place, especially for vegan Maki! The flavors they create are out of this world. They are thoughtfully created and not just using whatever boring veg they have on hand for the regular sushi.

Normally great service and food but last time was not the case at all and people working there made excuses.

Updated: To their credit management followed up on the issue indicting they would work to address these issues.

This review is for this last visit.
We ordered two appetizers , drinks and two sets of sushi rolls. Got drinks then waited, and waited. 45 minutes go by and ask our server where was the food, she said oh maybe there is an issues. Now people at other tables that arrived after us started getting the same appetizers we ordered 55 minutes ago, who ordered after we complained. Waitress comes back and I say something is wrong with this wait, she said she told the manager. Finally after 67 minutes (thanks google maps for history), the food comes all at once.
I ask for a fork, no fork, I ask a difference waitress for fork finally got one a third of way into eating.
No offer of a drink all this time.
No manager checks in on this.
When asked what happened just got a sorry.
Bill comes they took off one of the two appetizers.
Paid bill and went to front to ask to see the manager. The hostesses both left and a person comes to the front and says hi, I asked if they were the manager. No. Was told manager was busy. I said get them any way.
Out comes the manager, tell the whole story. They say oh, heard there was I slight delay. I informed them over and hour is not a slight delay and why did she not come to the table to check knowing there was an issue. She said she was busy doing other things she is supposed to do. She then realized how that sounded and said did not mean that as an excuse, so I said so then why did you not come take care of the issue.
The impression was one of why are you bothering us.
Look, issues happen, take ownership of it and make an effort to correct it, prioritize getting that food out, comp a drink or item so we have something while we wait. Explain what what happened.
    There was none of that.
The response at the time seemed to be as if they are popular and if something goes wrong they have plenty off other people and over an hour waited of everyone at the table is not any big issue, based on the responses and actions.
