decided to try Acadian as they had a great review for their fish and chips. we ordered the cod fish and chips and they were fantastic. the batter on the fish is great, they were cooked perfect and the fries were great. customer service was friendly, fast and professional. we will back and highly recommend them
Great food and service!
Its a small place so it fills up quick, it is a scratch kitchen. The gumbo was good and had flavorful meats and seasoning. The shrimp and grits left a little more to be desired. The bread pudding was $10 which they say can feed 4. To me at that price point you would be better served going to the Jazz downtown. $70
Delicious Cajun eats.
Protip: order the shrimp n grits for out of this world grits. It's not your waffle House grits that's good sure. I could eat it all day.
Also order the corn bread. Soo good.
Service was outstanding. They went above and beyond for what seemed like a more casual restaurant. Friendly, informative and on top of things.
I'd love if they were a touch cheaper for my every day going out. I did have the passport Omaha which made my meal very affordable.
I don't really have anything negative to say. They hit all the right spots for me.
Located in West Omaha.
Parking is available in a large lot. Very large lot. Was really easy.
We have been here twice and have had a great meal each time. Some people might consider it a little pricey, but you get what you pay for here. The food is very well seasoned, and service has been quick and friendly both times we were there. The food is a mix of Cajun and Creole cooking, so purists might complain about that.
I hope that they are able to be around for a long time, because until now, Omaha was missing a really good Cajun restaurant! I just hope that the small, out of the way location doesn't hurt them. Because I think that they really could make a go of it in a bigger location.
