For some reason happy hour cocktails are the size of a shot glass...other than that, the food is decent. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, specifically with questions on the menu. The lunch menu says it's only served till 3, but you can still totally get the stuff on the lunch menu after 3.
My wife and I have been here a couple of times now. It is a little upscale, but consistent when comparing prices to other restaurants in this area.
Each time we have been here, the food has been excellent and also had reasonable portions. The fried mushrooms are by far the best I have ever had at a restaurant.
They do validate for parking in the garage there making it really convenient to go here.
Went with some friends last night for drinks and food. Prime rib sandwich is absolutely outstanding! Very tender great flavor! Our drinks were perfect. Waitress nice and friendly. Beautiful atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.
We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Reuben and the Meatloaf. Our drinks stayed full at all times and the food came out hot and pretty quick. The Reuben corned beef was thinly sliced and tender with just the right amount of kraut and sauce. I like my Reuben grilled and this was served on regular bread that was not grilled or toasted. The fries were hot and crisp. The meatloaf was very generous in size and it had a nice beefy flavor with a marinara type sauce on top. The potatoes were a garlic mashed and they were delicious. The green beans were plain and could have used some seasoning to spruce them up. Overall great experience and we would go back again.
Very good food. We ate on the patio. Comfy chairs and beautiful view of Midtown to Downtown. Fried pickles are recommended as an appetizer. The breading didn't over power the pickle. Rosemary grilled chicken had an interesting flavor. It was juicy too. The smashed potatoes and green beans were a perfect compliment. For dessert, strawberry cheesecake! Delicious! The weather was perfect. Sun was behind the buildings. Just a perfect evening.
