The food and presentation were excellent. I had the Ají de gallina which was a creamy mild curry with shredded moist chicken breast with a side of rice and a boiled egg. A friend let try the Arroz con Pollo y papas and WOW! It had an amazing texture and flavor. I will definitely get that one next time.

The food was top notch and good portions. The night we went they were out of few things but I heard the Chaufan to be great.

I wish them a lot of success and maybe a day they can have a second location that can make justice to the quality of dishes they are serving. This is a great stepping stone but a location with better visibility and close to their targeted clientele would definitely help.

This was a nice find in my search for Peruvian restaurants. They are in a transition phase, trying to remodel from the Firewater Grille to the Nebraska Del Peru, but the food! Let's break it down:
-I ordered the Lomo Saltado with a side of yuccas fritas with huancaina sauce(it's a cheese sauce). The potatoes with the Lomo were fresh and crisp and complemented the rice as it absorbed the juices of the beef and onions. The meat was marinated and cooked just right to provide those morsels of protein between bites of the dish. The yuccas fritas went great with the huancaina sauce, but I'll tell you a secret: pour the sauce over the yuccas so that it's evenly spread over all of them.
-My wife had the Arroz con Pollo(chicken cooked in cilantro rice). This dish smelled heavenly before I could taste it. The chicken was so soft it fell off the bone and easily blended in with the rice, which by itself could have been it's own dish. This dish came with a side papa a la huancaina(potatoes with the cheese sauce) and you must combine that sauce with the rice!
-We finished with a passion fruit cheesecake and had an awesome passion fruit cocktail--highly recommend.

This was a successful evening full of delicious food. We can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu!

Very nice people and even better food. I am excited to see a Peruvian restaurant in Nebraska! The location is in the Firewater Grille, the name is changing. Which can be a tad confusing at first. One of the best Peruvian restaurants I've been to in the USA!

This place is a hidden gem. If you love peruvian food, this is the place to be. I've been there three times. They are still working out some kinks so give them some grace. I've had the Lomo saltado twice and the aji de gallina once. I love the food and it reminds me of Lima.

The restaurant is in the comfort inn and the signage from the firewater grill has not been changed yet. It can be confusing if it is your first time.

I wish this place the best and will continue to visit on my trips to omaha
