This place is just awesome. The food, the decor, the owner, it was a great first time experience eating here. You can tell the owner truly cares and values the customers in his restaurant. He’s very friendly, and truly appreciates your business. What I love about this place is the sauce bar… you can pick any sauces you want to try- or try them all like I did. No additional charge. I loved the sassy one and the white sauce. They were honestly all good. I loved the spiciest one as well! Their lunch specials are incredible at $9 per meal, and includes a drink. You can’t beat that!
Pictured I got the chicken salad, per his recommendation for something fresh and delicious - and it was fantastic! Also pictured is the pulled pork sliders with Mac and cheese. My son LOVED the Mac, and the sliders were so good also. Served on a soft bun with cheese and a pickle.
We will definitely be back!
It was ok, nothing spectacular. Good to try one time but won’t return. The beans and mac and cheese were really good, so was the Reuben. The Reuben egg rolls were not good and the pulled pork sandwich had been reheated one too many times and as a result was super greasy.
Great local option for bbq. Ribs were meaty and pulled clean from the bone. Also had one of the St Patty specials, the Reuben sammie, which had nicely toasted rye bread and flavorful corned beef. Hubby had the omaha fattie burrito which is a large portion and unexpectedly good flavor combo. Would have loved to enjoy the outside seating but smoker was putting off way too much smoke to sit in this area.
I live in Dallas but travel to Omaha monthly. In Texas I eat at the best BBQ spots weekly, Franklin's, Terry Black's, Goldees, Hutchins,... Pulled BBQ is really good!! Best BBQ sandwich I've had in Nebraska. Restaurant was clean, food was fresh, portions were generous and the flavor was on point! 100% will return every time I am in town! Job well done!
Stopped in for lunch at the recommendation of one of my co-workers. Definitely a great little lunch spot! We ordered off of the lunch menu. In particular the two sliders combo. I got mine with pulled pork and it was quite delicious. Also ordered their creamy coleslaw and it was very tasty as well. Definitely love the variety of sauces available to put on your entree. My favorite was probably the red sauce. The sassy was also pretty good with a touch of spice. Service was fast and the staff were friendly. Price for my lunch meal was very reasonable! It was just enough food to fill me up without getting over full. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the mood for some barbecue style grub.
