I was impressed that when I ordered curbside pickup the staff member came out to my car immediately after I arrived. He was also wearing a mask and gloves. He offered to put the order in my backseat for a "contact-less" delivery. Not every restaurant is being that conscientious. Oh, and the crepes were great!
This is first experience eating a sweet crepe. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried the Tutti Fruti crepe which has most of the fruits with chocolate base and I have liked it very much. The chocolate is little overwhelming for me and I really think there should be something else to balance the flavor. but it's ok. I might come back and try other flavors.
I ordered the S'mores crepe and added peanut butter to it. A magical combination! This crepe was so incredibly amazing, I will definitely be back! The staff were also very nice and even brought the food out to our table.
We ordered the Nutella Crepe with banana and strawberries. It tastes really good. The staff is nice too and the place is very clean and modern style.
We experienced Sofra Creperie this past weekend and were quite happy with the meal. My husband chose the American Club Crepe and I chose the sweet Strawberries and Cream Cheese crepe. An older couple next to us at the bar chose the bananas/peanut butter and chocolate crepes. When I witnessed the other couple take their first bite, I saw that they had used their forks, but gave it up and just picked the crepes up to eat them. I thought nothing of it. When our food was ready to eat, my husband and i used our forks and realized the crepes were a bit stiff for trying to eat with a fork. I don't know...perhaps this is just exactly they way they are intended to be at this restaurant. My experience with crepes - dating back to Mexico, 15 years ago, has always been that they were super light and soft. Just like a super super thin pancake - basically. That is the reason I have awarded 4 stars instead of 5. Are they overcooked? I don't know, like I said before, it's entirely possible this is the way this restaurant chooses to make them. As for the taste/flavor - we all 4 agreed they were VERY good and we would gladly return in the future to eat here again.
