Virtuoso Pizzeria by David Losole

Fantastic pizza. I visited during the middle of the afternoon when it wasn't busy and had a great experience. It wasn't just the incredible food but the staff is amazing. I saw a lot of hugs from the staff seeing people that they knew and heard a "Good to see you again!" from one of the staff to a family that just sat down. Certainly a place you have to experience.

Go here for fabulous pizza. The owner makes his own sausages and meatballs, and ages his dough for the best flavor. Can you buy a cheaper pizza? sure, but nothing compares. Although sold by the slice, the pieces are huge, delicious, and satisfying. Add in an Inviting owner and a nice staff - and you have a combination that makes a perfect pizza and beer evening. Definitely our favorite place in town for pizza.

We had the meatball pizza & pepperoni/sausage. I personally like more sauce on my pizza. The slices are XL about 10" in length. The dressing on the side salad was amazing! We were disappointed they did not have any of the chocolate dessert. They do not have any low calorie sweeteners only sugar. I guess bring your own. Fans of the former Pizza Shoppe, will find the surroundings familiar, but different foods. Staff was nice.

Somewhat new to the Benson area Virtuoso offers pizza by the slice. My meal which included a large slice of pizza, a salad and a craft beer cost about $20. The slice of pizza was more than enough for me and the crust was quite delicious. All the toppings were fresh. The staff was friendly and courteous. Beer selection was limited compared to many of the surrounding establishments.
