This place is awesome, great food, great employees, always supporting amazing musicians with live shows!! Beer was ice cold and the owner is a stand up guy, would highly recommend stopping in for a bite and show in the future!!
Being in Nebraska and a music lover... I do not know what I’d do without this place! Great food, excellent staff/owners, and... (with the highest level of respect I can convey on a review)... The best sh#t hole place.. to hear some great live music! Keep it up Buck’s! ????????????✌️✌️????
If Buck's Bar was a vehicle it would be a 1976 Ford pickup that's missing its tailgate, has rust holes you can see through, a door that doesn't shut completely, cracked windshield, no exhaust and a cassette of Chris Ledoux stuck in the tape player. And just like that old truck I wouldn't want it any other way.
Some of the best food you'll find and I'll put their steaks up against anyone's. Great staff. Friendly patrons. Live music. Did I mention the food?
If you like hole in the wall places with excellent food then check out Buck's. And make sure you look up the live music schedule for some great bands.
Buck has the best Prime Rib in Nebraska, and the best bands playing live from all over the USA. His staff is amazing, and the place itself is full of really cool stuff. Buck himself however, is not so awesome. We played a show at his place one night and because we ate 14 lbs of Prime Rib he snuck out into the parking lot and disconnected a battery cable on our bus, forcing us to spend the night, and having no choice but to buy breakfast tacos from him the following morning for $26 each. They were really good tacos though, so there’s that.
First time here and we came in around 130pm. Greeted by a wonderful waitress named April. Order up drinks, water and some appetizers. We were enjoying our day out, chatting and listening to the music. After a few hours, April, understandably had to take a break. Not sure who the next pushy woman was, but she needed to back off. Walked up to us with tickets in hand asking us if that was all. Well no, we ordered another round, so she crumpled the receipt in front of us and stomped off. Not sure what the other woman was trying to do, I mean we have ordered food and drinks, yet she wanted to push us out the door. When April returned we ordered another round and two prime rib dinners to go. We spent about 3 hours here and $100 food and drink tab. The prime rib dinner is superb and highly recommended. April is a fabulous waitress and if you come in, ask for her. The other woman needs to find a new line of work, maybe checking ID at the door so she can keep the line moving; she definitely does not belong working tables. Her actions could have cost this bar revenue. We stayed and ordered additional food because April treated us great!
