“5/26/2020 It really pains me to write this review because one of our all-time favorite waitresses works at this facility and if she didn’t, I'd give this place two stars. To be clear she didn’t wait on our table and we know her from a different Village Inn that has since closed down. This is the first time that we have visited this Village Inn and were very happy to find out she worked here. The facility itself is in need of a renovation. Sitting along I 80 as it does, I'd think this would be a priority. The facility itself was clean enough, it just has a kind of a general run-down feeling to it. Be that as it may, the table we got had a large spot of; syrup, gravy, or something, on it that I asked to be cleaned off. The waitress wasn’t very friendly or attentive, and tried to charge us triple for what we ordered. The food was good. We had breakfast fair; cheese omelet, biscuit with gravy, pancakes, fruit, and a free piece of lemon meringue pie that I had a coupon for from an email.”

“Tied for the best pizza that I've ever had in my life, which is true Chicago deep dish. Orsi's pizza is incredibly fresh with flavorful sauce, rich stringy cheese and delicious toppings! Got sausage and black olive and you could hear the little squeak when biting into the olives, a sign of plump and fresh olives. I was in Nebraska for just two days for business and had to make a second stop here for lunch on the way out! Definitely worth a visit, they've earned a regular in me for whenever I'm in town!”

I will surely remember what transpired after my visit today. . .half a loaf of bread has disappeared and I'm happily but begrudgingly going to tell you that most of that gorgeous, golden, goodness is gently gurgling from within my stomach. I share that burden with my two sharp toothed carb fiends that I call kids as well. We are very happy that we stopped! We picked up half a loaf of sourdough and a full loaf of something I can't name. Looks like a bigger baguette. The bread is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sourdough is proofed for 48 hours and it shows. SO delicious! Smells so good...The loaves we brought home today reminded me why I love bread so much. Thank you!”

“The flat white was incredible. The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all. I had mine with almond milk no sugar and it was perfect. I ordered the open veggie. It was a TON of food.
