This is an oasis in Western Nebraska. The atmosphere is upscale with excellent vibes. The food has a touch of Indian American that makes it much better than anywhere else in the great plains. The beer on tap is always supporting the best local breweries around. From award winning Pals Brewing in North Platte to Dry Dock Brewing in Colorado, you can't go wrong trying something new and supporting local.
Looking for healthier dining options in Ogallala Ne? Try 308 Lounge. My dinner companion had Chicken Tiki Masala served with rice and naan bread. Add the rice to the light, slightly spicy/rich sauce with chicken, and scoop it up in pieces of soft naan. I had the 308 Signature sandwich brought on a buttery-toasted bread filled with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. It dripped tomato and chicken juice until I surrendered & used a fork. The steak fries were lightly crisp outside, soft inside, and did not have a heavy oil-fried taste. More casual dining than lounge with well-positioned TV's to watch sports and cute pets. Full bar, pool table, small game room. Excellent service. Separate entrance but also shares a connection into the Quality Inn hotel.
I’ve been wanting to try the Indian food here and had something going on that evening so I ordered takeout and ordered the butter chicken. The butter chicken was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the Indian food and I will definitely be going back again.
I came here for the curry but they have American as well (burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads, etc).
Ogallala is lucky to have this place.
I've eaten at top rated Indian and Nepalese restaurants in Denver, Colorado Springs, Chicago, Philadelphia, Doha (Qatar), and Germany.
308 Lounge's special Curry Chicken is one of the best (maybe the best) chicken curries I've had. At most places the chicken is a bit dry but here at 308 Lounge, they cook it perfectly.
I hope they can start offering more South Asian dishes, and maybe put them on the menu full time. Definitely support this restaurant if you can and tell your friends about it so they can do well here.
I look forward to trying the other specials!
Fantastic new restaurant! Delicious food we had the specials curry chicken and tandoori chicken. Also had burgers and all of our food was very good and we will definitely be back for more!
